On or about Saturday, April 17th, 2021, around 6:20 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a 58-year-old man dead. Deputies from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on the northbound side of Highway 62 in Harrison, Arkansas.

Troopers from the Arkansas State Police said 85-year-old Rex Savage was killed when his car allegedly struck a tractor-trailer that was backing into a dry dock at Pace Industries. Savage was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries a short time after his arrival. No other injuries were mentioned in the police statement.

According to Google Maps, Pace Industries is situated at 513 Highway 62 in Harrison, about 138 miles north of Little Rock.

Police are still investigating the accident.
