On or about Sunday, September 26th, 2021, a serious chain-reaction accident between three tractor-trailers sent two men to the hospital. Law enforcement representatives from the area said the accident was reported along County Road 17 in Polk County, Minnesota.
Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff’s Department said 50-year-old Clarence Phelps and 50-year-old Reyes Bustamente Jr were injured when three tractor-trailers collided in a chain-reaction accident while down County Road 17. Emergency responders transported Phelps and Bustamente to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. Police did not indicate how the accident may have started.
