Details:
On or about Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a serious single-vehicle motorcycle accident left a 38-year-old man dead. Police from the area said the accident was reported along South Border Avenue in Weslaco, Texas.
Officers from the Wespaco Police Department said 38-year-old Ricardo Banda Guzman was killed when the motorcycle he was driving allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and crashed into a fence a short distance off the roadway. Emergency responders pronounced Guzman dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the intersection with Mile 5 North.
Officials are still working to pin down what happened in the incident.
