Details:
On or about Monday, April 18th, 2022, around 3:00 in the morning, a single-vehicle motorcycle accident sent one individual to the hospital. Officials from the EPPD said the accident was reported along North Piedras in El Paso, Texas.
Officials from the El Paso Police Department said 25-year-old Ricardo Acosto Philips was injured when the motorcycle he was on allegedly drove off the side of North Piedras and crashed into a lot a short distance off the pavement below. Emergency responders transported Philips to University Medical Center with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance south of Interstate 10.
Police are still investigating the crash.
