On or about Thursday, May 13th, 2021, around 11:18 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left one man dead and sent a woman to the hospital. Authorities said the accident was reported along Highway 84 in Bismarck, Arkansas.
Troopers from the ASP said 54-year-old Richard Collins was killed, while 37-year-old Brittany Fowler was injured when Collins’ tractor-trailer allegedly struck Fowler’s Dodge Avenger while she was attempting a U-turn. Collins was pronounced dead a short time after the accident, while Fowler was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the crash.
According to Google Maps, Highway 84 runs east and west through Bismarck, which is about 65 miles southwest of Little Rock.
