Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 26th, 2022, around 6:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 55-year-old man dead. Law enforcement representatives from the area said the accident was reported along North Jog Road near the intersection with Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol said 55-year-old Richard Massa was killed when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross Jog Road. Emergency responders pronounced Massa dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the west side of West Palm Beach.
Police are still investigating the incident.
