On or about Friday, April 28th, 2022, around 9:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a box truck and a tractor-trailer left a 63-year-old man dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along Interstate 85 in Montgomery County, Alabama.
Representatives from the Alabama State Police said 63-year-old Richard Roberts was killed when the box truck he was driving allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer along I-85. Emergency responders pronounced Roberts dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. Officials did not mention any other injuries or vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 85 winds north and south into Montgomery County.
