Details:
On or about Thursday, March 24th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a bus left one person dead and injured three others. Troopers from the LSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 just outside Port Allen, Louisiana.
Spokespeople from the Louisiana State police said Ricky Hagar was killed and three others were injured when Hagar’s tractor-trailer struck the back of a passenger bus along I-10. Paramedics pronounced Hagar dead a short time after the collision, while three other as-of-yet unidentified individuals were treated for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the Mississippi River Bridge.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
