On or about Wednesday, October 14th, 2020, around 8:00 in the morning, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident sent a 58-year-old Schertz resident to the hospital. The accident happened in the lanes of Highway 77 near La Grange, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas DPS said that 58-year-old Robert Brown was hurt when the tractor-trailer he was in lost control and flipped while he was allegedly looking at a cell phone. Brown suffered unspecified minor injuries.
An examination of the area on Google Maps shows that Highway 77 runs north and south through the heart of La Grange, which is located about 75 miles southeast of Austin.
Department of Public Safety and local authorities are still investigating.
