On or about Thursday, October 7th, 2021, around 11:59 in the morning, an accident between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer left a 52-year-old White Hall man dead. Officials from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 365 near the intersection with Morrison Road in Jefferson County, Arkansas.
Law enforcement representatives said 52-year-old Robert Carpenter was killed when his motorcycle was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that was attempting a left turn into a private driveway. Officials said Carpenter was southbound while the truck was northbound at the time of the accident. Emergency responders pronounced Carpenter dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 365 runs north and south through Jefferson County, which is about 54 miles south of downtown Little Rock.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
