Robert Clem Mosley and Joseph Jarvis Wade were killed after colliding with a semi-truck at the intersection of West Lake Wales Road and State Road 60 on Monday, December 16, 2024. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports that Mosley was driving the 2002 Chevy 2500 Van when it collided with a 2023 Freightliner. Mosley allegedly failed to stop at the intersection, colliding with the semi-truck, however the investigation is ongoing.
