Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, around 1:00 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident sent one person to the hospital. Authorities from the area said one the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 1747 just outside Jasper, Texas.
Officials said 49-year-old Robert Hayden was injured when the pickup truck he was driving allegedly veered off the side of Farm-to-Market Road 174 when it crashed into a fence a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders transported Hayden to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance outside Jasper, which is roughly 134 miles northeast of downtown Houston.
Officials are still investigating.
