On or about Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, around 7:25 in the evening, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of an 80-year-old man. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 5300 block of Woodland Park Boulevard in Arlington, Texas
Law enforcement spokespeople said 80-year-old Robert Norcross was killed when the car they were in allegedly struck the back corner of a parked tractor-trailer along Woodland Park Boulevard. Emergency responders rushed Norcross to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the collision in their preliminary report.
According to Google Maps, Woodland Park Boulevard winds east and west through Arlington, which is about 20 miles west of downtown Dallas.
Police are still looking into the accident.
