Details:
On or about Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, around 9:00 at night, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 36-year-old man dead. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in Laredo, Texas.
Officials from the Texas DPS said 36-year-old Rodolfo Puente Rivera was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into the disabled van on I-35. Paramedics rushed Rivera to Doctors Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. Police did not mention any other injuries from the accident in their statement.
According to Google Maps, the Interstate 35 winds north and south into Laredo.
Police are still investigating the accident.
