Details:
On or about Monday, December 6th, 2021, around 9:00 at night, an accident between a pickup truck and a motorcycle claimed the life of a 41-year-old College Station resident. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 190 in Madisonville, Texas.
Texas DPS representatives said 41-year-old Rosalio Villegas Garcia was killed when the motorcycle he was driving was allegedly struck by a pickup truck that was attempting a U-turn on Highway 190. Emergency responders pronounced Garcia dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident. Officials identified the driver of the pickup truck as 38-year-old Shena Williams, who was treated for injuries of an unspecified nature at the scene of the collision.
According to Google Maps, Highway 190 runs east and west through the center of Madisonville, which is about 96 miles north of Houston.
Deputies from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
