Details:
On or about Sunday, June 20th, 2021, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left one man dead and sent another to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 1788 just outside Midland, Texas.
Authorities said 26-year-old Ruben Medina-Pulido was killed, while one other person was injured when the tractor-trailer they were in allegedly veered off the side of FM 1788 and rolled a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Medina-Pulido dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident. One other person in the truck was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, FM 1788 runs north and south through the area, with the scene of the accident situated roughly 10 miles southwest of Midland.
