On or about Friday, January 7th, 2022, around 11:50 in the morning, a major accident between a box truck, a pickup truck, and two passenger vehicles sent two individuals to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported at the intersection of Route 72 and Marsha Drive in Stafford Township, New Jersey.

Officials from the area said 44-year-old Rufino Tepet and 67-year-old Catherine Frieder were injured when a box truck driven by Joseph White allegedly failed to yield to a red light at the intersection of Route 72 and Marsha Drive when it hit Tepet’s pickup truck, pushing the pickup truck into a car driven by Catherine Frieder. Frieder’s car was then pushed into a Honda Accord driven by Craig Allen. Emergency responders transported Tepet and Frieder to the hospital with unknown injures after the accident.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 85 miles south of downtown Newark.
