Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 27th, 2021, an accident between a heavy duty pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent one man to the hospital. Representatives from the MSHP said the accident happened on Kelsay Road in Morgan County, Missouri.
Investigators said 59-year-old Russell Vanderberg was a passenger in a pickup truck that allegedly slammed into a tractor-trailer that had parked near or alongside the roadway. Emergency responders transported Vanderberg to nearby Lake Regional Hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the incident.
Morgan County is located roughly 126 miles southeast of downtown Kansas City.
Police hope to release the findings of their investigation as soon as they become available.
