Details:
On or about December 4th, 2020, around 9:13 in the morning, an accident between a plumbing truck and a commercial truck left a 19-year-old man dead and two others injured. Law enforcement spokespeople said the accident happened at the intersection of FM 1584 and FM 846 in Howard County, Texas.
Investigators said 19-year-old Ryan Liam Fife was a passenger in a plumbing truck driven by 37-year-old John Stewart Murray III. The plumbing truck was headed northbound on FM 1584 when it was allegedly struck by a commercial truck that failed to yield on FM 845. Fife died of his injuries after the accident. Murray was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Police identified the driver of the commercial truck as Jesus Montoya, who sustained non-incapacitating injuries.
