On or about Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, a major accident between a FedEx truck and a tractor-trailer sent two men to the hospital. Law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported at the intersection of Route 219 and Route 49 in Washington Township, Ohio.

Representatives from the Ohio State Police said 33-year-old Ryan Plough and 66-year-old Mark Knape were injured when the FedEx truck Plough was driving allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of Route 219 and Route 49 and collided with the tractor-trailer Knapke was driving. Emergency responders transported Plough and Knapke to the hospital with unknown injuries.

According to Google Maps, Washington Township is about 80 miles southwest of Columbus.

Police are still investigating the accident.
