Details:
On or about Thursday, February 4th, 2021, around 7:05 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a motorcycle claimed the life of a 46-year-old man. Deputies from the Almeda County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Mayhews Road in Fremont, California.
Troopers from the CHP said 46-year-old Ryan Watson was killed when his motorcycle allegedly struck the side of the box truck in the intersection. Watson died of his injuries a short time after EMS responded to the scene of the accident. Authorities did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Streetview, only Mayhews Road has a stop sign at the intersection with Mission Boulevard.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office and CHP Troopers are investigating the accident.
