Details:
On or about Monday, April 25th, 2022, around 3:47 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 21-year-old McRae man dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 67 in Cabot, Arkansas.
Deputies from the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office said 21-year-old Salvador Rivera was killed when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Highway 67. Emergency responders pronounced Rivera dead of his injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Exit 19.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
