Details:
On or about Monday, April 25th, 2022, around 3:47 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer left a 21-year-old McRae man dead. Authorities from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 67 in Lonoke County, Arkansas.
Troopers from the Arkansas State Police said 21-year-old Salvador Rivera was killed when he was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Highway 67. Emergency responders pronounced Rivera dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the incident is a short distance away from Exit 19.
Authorities are still investigating the car accident.
