On or about Thursday, January 13th, 2022, around 1:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent a 21-year-old woman to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 35W in Northlake, Texas.
Officers from the area said 21-year-old Samantha Anne Morton was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly made an unsafe lane change and forced Morton’s vehicle off the roadway where it rolled a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics transported Morton to the hospital to be treated for incapacitating injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was cited following the accident, but police did not specify the nature of the citation.
