On or about Thursday, June 9th, 2022, around 9:00 at night, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle left a 60-year-old man dead. Officers from the EPPD said the accident was reported at the intersection of Transmountain Drive and Gateway South in El Paso, Texas.
Authorities from the El Paso Police Department said 60-year-old Scott Rousalis was killed when the motorcycle he was on allegedly ran a red light and was hit by a vehicle at Gateway and Transmountain. Emergency responders pronounced Rousalis dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Transmountain Drive and Gateway South is on the northeast side of El Paso.
Police are still examining the factors behind the accident.
