Details:
On or about Monday, January 25th, 2021, around 2:29 in the afternoon, an accident between three tractor-trailers left one man dead and sent another to the hospital in a helicopter. Authorities from the OHP said the accident happened along Highway 270 just outside Watonga in Blaine County, Oklahoma.
Investigators said 29-year-old Sean Bush was killed when his tractor-trailer allegedly struck the back of an 18-wheeler that had stopped at a railroad crossing. After the initial collision, Bush’s tractor-trailer bounced into the oncoming lanes and struck a tractor-trailer driven by Robert Palacio. Emergency responders pronounced Bush dead at the scene, while Palacio was airlifted to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is roughly 12 miles west of Watonga. Watonga is about 68 miles northwest of Oklahoma City.
Multiple agencies are investigating the accident.
