Details:
On or about Monday, September 20th, 2021, around 8:30 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left three men dead. Troopers from the GSP said the accident was reported near the exchange of Highway 91 and Highway 32 in Lee County, Georgia.
Law enforcement representatives from the area said 33-year-old Seth Farmer, 32-year-old Joe Efeya, and 56-year-old Charles Riggins were killed when the pickup truck they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. Authorities said Farmer and Efeya died at the scene, while Riggins was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, Lee County is about 165 miles south of Atlanta.
Police are still working to determine the cause of the accident.
