Details:
On or about Monday, February 28th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle left seven people injured. Authorities from the FHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Northwest 154th Street and Okeechobee Boulevard in Miami, Florida.
Spokespeople from the Florida Highway Patrol said seven as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when an SUV and a dump truck collided under unspecified conditions. After the initial collision, the SUV rolled in the lanes of traffic. Five people in the SUV and two people in the dump truck were treated for unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 15 miles northwest of downtown Miami.
Police are still examining the cause of the accident.
