Details:
On or about Monday, December 13th, 2021, sometime in the afternoon hours, a multi-vehicle chain-reaction accident with a school bus, a dump truck, and ten other vehicles sent seven individuals to the hospital. Local law enforcement spokespeople said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 40 near American Road in Nashville, Tennessee.
Authorities from the area said seven as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a dump truck allegedly lost control and rolled and spilled gravel into the roadway. A school bus and ten other vehicles were ensnared in the following chain-reaction accident. The driver and two passengers on the school bus, as well as four other people were transported to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 40 and American Road is on the east side of Nashville.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
