Details:
On or about Sunday, October 31st, 2021, around 12:00 in the morning, an accident between a truck and a bus sent multiple people to the hospital. Deputies from the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Highway 111 at or near the intersection with Budd Road in New Albany, Indiana.
Officials from the area said several as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a truck and a transport bus collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Highway 111. Paramedics transported the driver of the truck, and an unknown number of people on the bus to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. Officials did not say exactly how many people were hurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, New Albany is just north of Louisville, Kentucky, on the north banks of the Ohio River.
Police are still investigating.
