On or about Monday, June 27th, 2022, around 3:20 in the afternoon, a serious accident between a dump truck, multiple passenger vehicles, and a motorcycle left several individuals injured. Officers from the KPD said the accident was reported along John Sevier Highway in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Spokespeople from the Tennessee Highway Patrol said several as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a dump truck allegedly slammed into multiple passenger vehicles and at least one motorcycle along the John Sevier Highway. Paramedics transported multiple people from the scene to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the crash is not far from the intersection with Chapman Highway.
Authorities are still working to pin down what may have led to the accident.
