Details:
On or about Monday, March 29th, 2021, an accident between a minivan and a tractor-trailer sent several people to the hospital. Authorities from the WVSP said the accident happened along the northbound side of Interstate 77 in Beckley, West Virginia.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said several people were injured when a southbound tractor-trailer allegedly crossed over the center line of the interstate and struck a northbound minivan. Paramedics transported an unspecified number of people to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
Interstate 77 runs north and south along the western edge of Beckley, which is about 58 miles southeast of Charleston.
Officials are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
