On or about Sunday, August 29th, 2021, around 2:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a train and a tractor-trailer sent several people to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at a crossing at the intersection of Highway 90 and Highway 183 in Luling, Texas.
Officials from the DPS said an unspecified number of people were taken to the hospital when the train they were on collided with a tractor-trailer that was hauling a long wind turbine that had allegedly crossed the tracks near the intersection of Highway 183 and Highway 90.
