Several people were injured following a crashing involving nearly a dozen vehicles in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 on the evening of Wednesday, December 4, 2024. A definitive list of injuries has yet to be released, but Pennsylvania State Police report approximately 8-10 semi-trucks and 3-4 passenger vehicles involved. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation was forced to close off many of the nearby roads, as well as impose a temporary speed limit of 45-miles-per-hour in the area.
