Details:
On or about Monday, February 8th, 2021, an accident between two tractor-trailers sent a 33-year-old truck driver to the hospital. Spokespeople from the MSHP said the accident happened along Interstate 49 just outside Neosho, Missouri.
Officers from the area said James Henry was driving a tractor-trailer that allegedly lost control and struck an 18-wheeler driven by 33-year-old Shane Morgan in the oncoming lanes. Morgan was rushed to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity following the crash. Henry was reportedly uninjured in the accident.
The scene of the accident is situated just north of Neosho, which is about 23 miles south of Joplin.
State and local law enforcement assisted at the scene of the crash.
