Details:
On or about Friday, January 28th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent five individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the MSHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 29 just outside Faucett in Buchanan County, Missouri.
Investigators said 26-year-old Sharice Scott, 20-year-old Jeanice Ross and three as-of-yet unidentified juvenile passengers were injured when the car they were in was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer along I-29. Paramedics transported Scott, Ross, and the three juveniles to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer was identified as Jonathan Nichols, who was unhurt in the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about two miles south of Faucett, which is roughly 41 miles north of Kansas City.
Police are still investigating the incident.
