Details:

Sharon Hickey was killed and the other driver injured in a head-on collision while travelling along FFA Lane near Dumas, TX. The Texas Department of Public Safety reports the accident took place around 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Hickey was driving west when the eastbound Silverado reportedly veered into her lane. Both drivers were taken to Moore County Hospital, where Hickey would later die from her injuries. The driver of the Silverado was treated for undisclosed injuries. DPS is investigating the cause of the accident.
