Details:

Shumsher Dhillon was seriously injured after being struck by a dump truck on Interstate 80, near mile marker 43, in Parsippany, NJ. The New Jersey State Police report the crash occurred around 4:20 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025.

Dhillon, who was driving a Honda Civic, had previously collided with a Hyundai Elantra. Both vehicles were disabled in the right lane of eastbound I-80 when Dhillon exited his vehicle. He and his vehicle were then struck by the Peterbilt dump truck. Dhillon was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
