On or about Monday, October 5th, 2020, around 6:00 in the evening, a multi-vehicle accident that included a car hauler and a tractor-trailer sent six people to the hospital. Authorities said that the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-495 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
Police indicated that six as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when several cars, a tractor-trailer and an 18-wheeler hauling cars collided in a chain-reaction accident. Officers did not indicate how the accident may have started.
EMS transported six individuals to the hospital to be treated for unknown injuries.
An inspection of Google Maps shows that I-496 runs east and west through Chelmsford, which is roughly 30 miles northeast of Boston.
