Details:
On or about Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022, around 10:35 at night, an accident between three tractor-trailers and two passenger vehicles left one man dead and sent two others to the hospital. Representatives from the OHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 44 just outside Stroud in Lincoln County, Oklahoma.
Troopers from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 21-year-old Spencer Atiga was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving, two other tractor-trailers, and two passenger vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident along I-44. Emergency responders pronounced Atiga dead, while two passengers in Atiga’s truck were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about two miles east of Stroud, which is roughly 58 miles northeast of downtown Oklahoma City.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
