On or about Monday, April 5th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer hauling logs and a car sent a truck driver and a woman to the hospital. Officials from the WSP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 95 and Highway 35 in Fountain City, Wisconsin.

Officers said 46-year-old Stephanie Foster was injured when her car was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer towing logs when the truck failed to stop at the intersection. Authorities identified the driver of the truck as 57-year-old Richard Kurtzhals. Paramedics transported Foster and Kurtzhals to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.

According to Google Maps, Fountain City is situated along the banks of the Mississippi River, about 103 miles southeast of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Officials are still investigating the incident.
