On or about Saturday, June 18th, 2022, around 6:58 in the evening, an accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle left a 64-year-old man dead. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market 439 in Bell County, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas DPS said 64-year-old Stephen Dwayne Erwin was killed when the motorcycle he was on was allegedly hit by a vehicle that failed to yield as it was pulling out of a driveway along FM 439. Emergency responders pronounced Erwin dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance east of Nolanville.
Police are still examining the cause of the accident.
