On or about Monday, March 14th, 2022, around 2:35 in the afternoon, an accident between a van and a tractor-trailer left a 47-year-old man dead. Representatives from the MSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 75 in Buena Vista Township, Michigan.
Spokespeople from the Michigan State Police said 47-year-old Steven Cronin was killed when the Chrysler Town and Country van he was driving allegedly collided with the back of a tractor-trailer that was moving slowly with mechanical problems along I-75. Cronin was ejected from the vehicle in the accident and succumbed to his injuries a short time after he was rushed to a nearby hospital by paramedics.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 75 winds north and south through Buena Vista Township.
Authorities are still investigating the collision.
