On or about Friday, March 11th, 2022, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck sent a 21-year-old man to the hospital. Representatives from the OHP said the accident was reported along Highway 270 just outside Alderson in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma.
Investigators from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 21-year-old Steven Jacob Bryant was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck Bryant’s pickup truck after he had spun into the roadway. Emergency responders transported Bryant to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the collision. Authorities identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as Brandon Paul Day, who was unhurt in the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated about 10 miles east of Alderson.
Police are still looking into the cause of the accident.
