On or about Friday, October 30th, 2020, around 4:22 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a 54-year-old woman dead. State Police said the accident happened along Interstate 380 in Tobyhanna Township, Pennsylvania.
Officers said 54-year-old Svetlana Potchtar was killed when the Subaru Crosstrek she was driving an a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances near Stroudsburg. First responders pronounced Potchtar dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident.
Officials identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as 56-year-old William G. Mendenhall, who sustained minor injuries in the accident.
