On or about Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, around 11:30 at night, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 52-year-old Pleasant City woman dead. Officials from the OSHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 70 in New Concord, Ohio.

Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said 52-year-old Tammy Hall was killed when her vehicle allegedly collided head-on with a tractor-trailer while driving the wrong direction on Interstate 70. Paramedics pronounced Hall dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the accident.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 70 cuts east and west along the southern edge of New Concord.

Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
