On or about Monday, March 8th, 2021, around 2:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a car and a dump truck left a 41-year-old Rock Hill woman dead. Investigators said the accident happened along State Highway 5 in York County, South Carolina.
Law enforcement sources said 41-year-old Tanya Bryson was killed when her car and a dump truck collided under unspecified circumstances near the intersection with Cureton Ferry Road. Paramedics pronounced Bryson dead of her injuries when they arrived at the scene. The driver of the dump truck did not report injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the banks of the Catawba River.
