On or about Wednesday, December 12th, 2022, a serious accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left a 63-year-old man from Noble, Oklahoma dead. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 20 in Howard County, Texas.
Officials from the Texas DPS said 63-year-old Teddy Mack Hillis was killed when the pickup truck he was driving allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer that had either stopped or slowed for traffic. Hillis was pronounced dead after the accident, but it is not immediately clear if he died at the scene or if he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. Police identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as Scott Gerome Neal, who was unhurt in the accident.
