On or about Thursday, May 12th, 2022, around 7:30 in the evening, a serious hit-and-run car accident sent a 15-year-old girl to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Pine Bluff Street in Paris, Texas.
Representatives from the DPS said an as-of-yet unidentified 15-year-old girl was injured when she was allegedly hit by a vehicle while she was riding her bike along or across Pine Bluff Street. After the initial accident, the vehicle fled the scene. Paramedics transported the teen girl to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is near the intersection with 8th Street.
Police are still looking for the driver and vehicle that fled the scene.
