On or about Friday, May 28th, 2021, an accident between an MBTA bus and a pedestrian sent a teenage girl to the hospital. Law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along Adams Street in Milton, Massachusetts.
Authorities said an as-of-yet unidentified teenage girl was injured when she was allegedly struck by an MBTA bus as she was attempting to cross the street with her mother. After the initial impact, the girl was thrown into a nearby parked car. Emergency responders transported the girl to Boston Medical Center with a possible head injury. Medical staff has not released an update on her condition.
According to Google Maps, Adams Street runs north and south through Milton, which is about 10 miles south of downtown Boston.
Police are still investigating the incident.
